The 17th Annual Harvest Fair and Joe Davies Folk Concert Thank you to everyone that helped make the Harvest Fair and Joe Davies Folk Festival a success.
The Summer Concert Series is only a memory now. All that remains are fond memories and the pictures.
Visitors tell us that visiting the farm helps relax them and restore their spirit. Winter on the farm has its own special beauty. Come out to the farm and see for yourself. The farm is active all week long with families, students, and educators using our abundant natural resources to teach science and agriculture. Our educator has a complete package of lessons and activities for all ages. Check out existing programs for homeschoolers and educators on our programs page. Words cannot express the beauty of the Soule Homestead. Our Photo Gallery captures some of the images that make the Homestead such a special place. Many first time visitors tell us the the Homestead is a unique and wonderful place to experience. Take a virtual tour and then come and see the wonder we cannot capture in pictures.
We are a non-profit working farm and agro-ecology education center teaching humane sustainable agriculture, environmental science and rural crafts. The Homestead is open free to the public throughout the year during our regular hours of operation. Tuesday - Sunday 9 am - 5 pm We are always closed on Mondays and Holidays.
Come and visit the farm on your own to see the farm animals, take a leisurely walk through the spacious fields, look for creatures in the streams, paint, sketch, picnic, take photographs or go bird watching. There is no fee for unguided visits but contributions, which are tax deductible, are always appreciated. If you like what you see at the farm, consider becoming a volunteer. If you have limited time and resources, but would still like to contribute in some positive way, the Homestead is also looking for various items as part of our Wish List. As a community resource, we count on the members of our community to assist us in continuing to provide our unique programs and activities. Thank you for your support.
