2018 Soule Homestead’s Counselors-In-Training (CIT) Program

You may have seen enthusiastic teens volunteering as part of our Camp Soule programs and are we are expanding into a formal program for 2018. We are seeking teens (ages 12-18) who are excited to be part of Soule Homestead this summer, teens who love farming, being outdoors, and are interested in working with young children.

Soule Homestead’s CIT program is an experience in leadership training, farm-based skill training, and child care experience. CITs work alongside our summer camp staff as volunteers and share their love and knowledge of farming and nature with our younger campers. CITs develop bonds with campers, assist with camp activities, crafts, games and farm chores. CITs are assigned to a group of campers based on their age, maturity level, and availability. This year we are asking that all teens who are interested in being part of Soule’s CIT program, this summer, must attend one of the two mandatory training days. Our CIT training days will be held Tuesday, June 5th from 4:30pm-6:30pm or Wednesday, June 27th from 1pm-3pm. Interested in signing-up? Have questions? Call Katie at 508-947-6744 or email
